Welcome back to the all new Daily, Nightly, Late Night Thread.

Tonight's guest on The Daily Show is Chris Christie.  The Nightly Show will be talking about taxes and who should pay more and who should pay less with panelists Robert Reich, Marina Franklin, and Mike Yard.

There are a couple of guests with Colbert that I would like to see, John Oliver, and Bill Withers. Withers has written and performed so many amazing songs, but Ain't No Sunshine is easily one of the best songs ever written.

Chris Christie

is the 55th Governor of New Jersey. He has been governor since January 2010 and was re-elected for a second term in the 2013 election. Christie is a candidate for the Republican nomination in the 2016 presidential election.
GOP's Christie on low polls: I need strong Iowa, NH
Republican presidential candidate Chris Christie, struggling in national polls, said Wednesday he's not worried yet because the campaign has only just begun. "If election day were October 1, I'd be worried," he added.

Using a football metaphor, the New Jersey governor said, "We finished Week 3 of the NFL. We have to go through the rest of the regular season, all the playoffs, and expect for the Super Bowl, before anybody votes."

In the RealClear Politics polling aggregator, Christie was in eighth place in the latest period with 3.4 percent support.

That's a far cry from billionaire Donald Trump's 23.4 percent, retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson's 17 percent, and former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina's 11.6 percent.

Christie said his fundraising efforts have been boosted by Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker's recent exit from the GOP race. Any narrowing of the crowded field is a good thing for candidates to get their messages out, he added.
I am looking forward to the interview only because I want to see how Trevor handles it. I am not looking forward to any of the stupid that will come out of Christie's mouth.
In case you need something else to watch, there is a video below! The music is Vanishing Point by New Order and the video is a drive on the highways in Japan.

Robert Reich
is an American political economist, professor, author, and political commentator. He served in the administrations of Presidents Gerald Ford and Jimmy Carter and was Secretary of Labor under President Bill Clinton from 1993 to 1997.

Reich is currently Chancellor's Professor of Public Policy at the Goldman School of Public Policy at the University of California, Berkeley. He was formerly a professor at Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School of Government and professor of social and economic policy at the Heller School for Social Policy and Management of Brandeis University.

Marina Franklin
is an American comedian.
Franklin has subsequently performed at various clubs and audiences across the world, including the Melbourne Comedy Festival, Scotland's Glasgow Comedy Festival, BBC's World Stand's Up, Rotterdam's Comedy Factory, Montreal’s Just For Laughs, Ireland’s Kilkenny Comedy Festival, and Nashville’s Bonnaroo Music Festival. Her big break came when she auditioned and won a spot on the second season of Last Comic Standing.
Aside from being a standup comedian, Marina is also an actress and writer, known from Chappelle Show saying "EWW (n-word) you smell like French Fries!!!" and Women Who Kill (2013).
Mike Yard
is a contributor for The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore. Yard was previously the winner of Comedy Central's Get Up, Stand Up comedy competition.
