Brie Larson
is an American actress and singer. She began her career as a child actor, performing in sketches on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. She appeared in supporting roles, mostly notably in Sleepover and 13 Going on 30, both in 2004. In 2010, Larson was featured in Greenberg and Scott Pilgrim vs. the World. She continued her supporting work in a wide range of films including, Rampart (2011), 21 Jump Street (2012), Don Jon (2013) and The Spectacular Now (2013) before landing her breakthrough leading role in Short Term 12. In 2015, she co-starred in the comedy Trainwreck and in the drama Room.

After 5-year old Jack and his Ma escape from the enclosed surroundings that Jack has known his entire life, the boy makes a thrilling discovery: the outside world.
While the movie deals in a dark subject matter, it is not a dark movie.
"Room" was a literary sensation, thanks to the sensitive storytelling abilities of the author, whose handling of sweet young Jack's narrative demonstrates his mother's determination to protect her child by creatively constructing his reality. What Jack can't know is that "room," the world as he knows it, is actually the 10-by-10-foot converted shed in which she has lived since she was abducted as a teen by a rapist.This movie sounds interesting. It does not celebrate the darkness of the story which I think is a good move. It would be too easy to make it a gratuitous horrorfest, like Saw only with a base of real life events but by doing it this way it makes the story not about the horror but about goodness.Donoghue's remarkable feat was to tell that story without ever sensationalizing the horror of the situation. That same care and sophistication have gone into the film adaptation, which she also wrote. Re-creating the story as a film posed an even greater challenge, but the script and filmmaker Lenny Abrahamson's sensitive handling keep the awfulness tempered.
To address the sexual abuse that Ma (Brie Larson) endures during evening visits from the man they call Old Nick (an effective Sean Bridgers), for example, the director has us simply see and hear what Jack experiences, the rustling noises that are made in the bed that the boy can't entirely see through slats of a small closet door where his mother keeps him hidden. The scene makes its horrible point about what is happening while not subjecting us to it visually.

Ryan Duffybegan his career at VICE as a lowly intern while attending NYU and studying journalism. He started out sorting mail and arranging back issues, but as VICE turned from a magazine into a full-on media juggernaut, Duffy's star quickly rose. Duffy is one of the network's main correspondents, traveling to fun and terrifying destinations all over the globe and covering everything from the Arab Spring—where he was jailed in Cairo—to donkey-f*cking in Colombia. Duffy has befriended convicted murderers and Russian mobsters-turned-reality-TV-czars, scaled empty high-rises in China's Ghost Towns, and raced reindeer in Norway.
Terry Crewsis an American actor and former American football player. He is perhaps best known for playing Julius on the UPN/CW sitcom Everybody Hates Chris and for his appearances in Old Spice commercials, as well as films such as Friday After Next, White Chicks, and The Expendables (series).
